What are you grateful for?
I wanted to share my thoughts in this blog after this amazing cab ride this afternoon.
Lately, I just let all my thoughts go into the universe knowing I will be ok and I am always ok.
I say thank you for every experience , good and bad because they help teach me and help me grow.
I got into a cab with a man that was also Jewish. And we started talking about emunah (Faith) and positive spiritual teachings and at the end of that beautiful cab ride, I was truly grateful. I was grateful for him and the knowledge he shared and in that moment out of his glove compartment, he gave me a book. It’s sacred and it’s all in Hebrew and its very tiny…and he gave it to me with the intention that whatever I need will come to me for the better good.
When I ask the question what are we grateful for?, I ask do we thank the universe or god for what we have. If we are always bickering with our significant others, do we ever stop and question why? Do we look at all the good things they do for us and acknowledge how they care for us?
Do we say that we are grateful. We are grateful to have them in our lives, to have them smile at us, hug us, keep our beds warm, or text us everyday to wish us to have a great day. Do we say thank you to god for bringing this person in our life that from time to time we take for granted.
I guarantee if we thank god and we thank the people that matter the most to us and we are grateful for their presence, they will reciprocate that beautiful gratitude. The universe and god are one, and what we are grateful for and are feeling happy to have, will just multiply. God (universe) wants us to be happy, just like the people who matter the most to us want us to be happy and appreciate when we acknowledge all the little things they do.
Food for thought….what are you grateful for?!!!
What do you take for granted?!!
The air we breathe, the people who love us, the people who are there for us time in and time out, the roofs over our heads, the food in our fridge, the money we make, the people who make us smile, that we are healthy, have two hands, and two feet, and eyes that see and ears that hear and people who love us unconditionally, whether it’s a mother, father, brother, sister, friend, husband, boyfriend…
What are we grateful for?
This blog that I write today I write on behalf of my faith in god, that brought beautiful things in to my life and an amazing partner who goes out of his way to try to make me smile and treat me right and is a beautiful human being…
I am grateful for all those friends that touch my life and always get me thinking outside the box or every shiur(lecture) I went to that taught me to be more open and understanding and respectful…I am grateful for every person who has touched me in some major way or little way…
Make a list of what makes you grateful…every single day! Write it! Honor it! And remember what it’s like not to have those people or things that matter…
Put a smile on someone’s face and say thank you and most importantly, thank god for bringing them into your life.
😊
